Lets face it. Consumers are getting screwed over left and right by the almighty corporation. One minute you see a commercial saying the corporation loves you and how easy they will make your life then you try to talk to customer service about a billing problem and its all of a sudden a one sided conversation. If it wasn't a corporation, it would be cateorized as abusive treatment. Corporations are evil and the little man can't get a fair shake unless you take the time and effort to shake things up. The next time you find yourself representing a big evil multinational conglomerate, just think about how much concern they'll have for you once they no longer need your services or decide that you're a commodity and can get away with screwing you over.

Heh. Aparently Tmobile offers happy hour to their employees, who then come home and ego surf google at 3am. Freindly folks. Yup. This makes me want to stay with them. Is offering something nice (like letting them keep their $2.99 Tzones) to the people who have been been with them for years such a hassle? Is that $2 really going to kill them financially? Why stay with a phone company if you can go somewhere else and get their special introductory offer and a SMILE. really people. Are you all this miserable when you start working at Tmobile, or does it come on slowly as the years go by and you realize they treat their employees just like they treat their customers? I'm not sure if I hate you, or feel sorry for you. Probably the later.

Did you know that if you type in 'Tmobile sucks' into Google, your page is hit #1?

Since we're ranting about them, (well, you were, now it's we) I'll contribute. We lost our cell phone. Boo hoo, our fault. Call TM to cancel the number. Sure, they say, that will be $200 'early termination' fee. Have we not been screwed enough by losing the phone? I say, since you will not have to provide us any service for the next 6 months, and in order to build customer loyalty, can you waive the fee? I gave them many brilliant arguments why it would be just as well to cut me loose and waive the fee, but they insist on their money. Fast forwarding over the begging, bargaining, pleading, etc, we reach the stage where I am so pissed I am willing to refuse to pay them anything, let it go to collection, take the credit hit, and pay the collection company in a year or two, just to make sure TM gets as little of their money as possible.

You can tell a lot about a person or company by how they behave when they have you over a barrel. One choice is to fuck you which is precisely the TM approach.

Now, do you really live in Loomis? California? I did too, once.
