This weekend was a very busy one. I attended the Ms International Leather gathering here in San Francisco. I allowed sissy sandra to accompany me so she could take a few classes of her own. I thought I would post and let you know see what new skills – or fine tuned skills, I will be bringing to the dungeon. Of course new skills means new toys!

Scene Singletails (Of COURSE! And I came home and ordered a new, longer single tail. I think I also developed a bit of a crush on Vic.)

You have seen them. You have certainly heard them. That lightning bolt crack, the sonic boom. The stab of electricity that runs thru your body from point of impact to all those good places. Singletails in the dungeon. This is the place to learn what you need to know to get started and what to do after you have gotten started. We will cover the basics and safety, then we will get to the more interesting stuff. After you stop hitting yourself (as often) you can start crafting scenes and parts of scenes with these exciting tools. If you have a singletail please bring it. Please, no whips longer than about 4 feet. We will have hands on time for you to throw.

Vic started hys Leather journey in the early 1980′s. A butch poly switch, opportunistic sadist and singletail lover. A recovering Baptist (those who know, just nod) he now enjoys the things only entertained in fantasies as a youth. This journey has taken many educational roads, from Samois of old in San Francisco to now an associate member of the Sacramento Valley Leathercorp in California. Twice a presenter at the Palm Spring’s women’s weekend of fun called DESIRE, Vic mostly teaches one on one.
Seeing the light of understanding come across someone’s face when they get it just right…priceless.

Advanced Bondage (and now I am shopping around for a straight jacket and body bag, two MUCH long over due items to join my dungeon!)

In this class, Mistress Stephanie Locke will demonstrate advanced bondage techniques on willing participants utilizing her vast collection of strait jackets, sleepsacks, sensory deprivation hoods, and more. You’ll see just how sexy it can be to take someone and put them not only in a straitjacket, but to add a sleepsack, perhaps a posture collar and then stick a nice deep gag in. Layering can take your partner into very deep sub space. Come to class, watch people fly and learn the best places to shop for quality equipment.

Passionate about sharing her knowledge, she has taught from Coast to Coast and on such diverse subjects as: S&M Etiquette, Sensory Deprivation, Tickling, Caning, Heavy Flogging, Singletails, Mummification (plaster or otherwise) and on The Pros and Cons of Becoming a Professional Mistress. She has judged IMsL twice, and placed 2nd runner-up at IMsL 2004.

Cutting/Scarification 101 (Always good skills to have. It was also a good reminder of health and safety for play piercing as well.)

Sharrin Spector has been active in the leather community for over 15 years. When She’s not professionally piercing, cutting and/or branding, She is happily enjoying the M/s SM lifestyle as property Owner of monica and cru. Sharrin has taught at numerous events including NLA, Black Rose, TES and Leather Celebration. Her passions include blood sports, branding, the art of the cane, the taming of the shrew and M/s relationships.

Scarification Revisited (This was an amazing class and demo by an amazing woman. Lots of blood flowed, and instead of getting queazy as I had thought I would, I found myself craving a steak.)

Scarification is a form of Body Modification involving shallowly cutting a design into living flesh and can be used towards many ends. It’s a blood sport, a way of leaving a subtle to permanent symbol in skin. It can be used as a rite of passage and a magical means to empowerment and personal transformation. People bring me all types of designs – totems, sexual and symbolic imagery, natural forms, abstract designs, knot work, etc. Cuttings are as unique as the people who get cut. Sometimes I have the pleasure of working on cuttings over a period of years re-cutting the fine scars to produce more scar tissue and more intricate designs. After a demo during which blood will flow, there will be time for Q & A.

Raelyn Gallina, “the Grandmother of Piercing” has been a professional Piercer and Scarification Artist for twenty five years and Branding since 1989. Involved in BD/SM since the late 70′s she has done lectures/demos for numerous SM Leather groups and events since 1986. Raelyn is a Master Jeweler having studied in Italy and is a Santeria Priest. Her approach to body modification is a spiritual one, specializing in rites of passage and transformation.
Raelyn has been out of commission the past three years busy battling very aggressive breast cancer and is still recovering from the intense treatments using all the natural resources available. She is very excited to be doing a demo here for IMsL in San Francisco.

Dirty Talk: Getting Inspired, Getting Ourselves and Out Partners Turned On (A great discussion class. It was great to listen to everyone talk about the things they think about just before they cum. There was also a lot of discussion about fantasy dirty talk vs actually wanting those things to happen.)

Dirty talk: it’s not just nasty nothings whispered in an ear in the dark any more! What is dirty talk? What is its purpose? How has the use of dirty talk changed with the growth of internet dating? What is the relation between negotiation and dirty talk? What does a verbal or fantasy aspect add to a scene? What thoughts, words or scenarios runs through your mind as you approach orgasm? Come with your own thoughts and experiences in mind. Be prepared to share what is hot for you, what has worked for you, and what has not.

Lou has lived in San Francisco for 17 years, and has been playing and practicing SM intentionally for 23 years (can it really be that long already?). Lou finds the psychological/mental aspects of desire, arousal, play and orgasm fascinating. Lou sat on a Verbal Abuse and Dirty Talk panel at Living in Leather in 1991, and has also presented on Fantasy vs. Reality, psychological aspects of SM and D/s, and many other topics over the years. Lou is a jaded bear, who is nonetheless open to love, happiness, joy and many orgasms.

Service: Finding Your Path

This class is an overview of, and exploration of how to find one’s path of service within BDSM focused relationships. Within it, we will discuss Mercedes. unified theory of service, which covers critical success factors for any path of service, and creates a foundation for individualized development and growth with a focus towards what is right for one’s Dominant. With this foundation, Mercedes will then explore manifesting these factors into a holistic approach to developing one’s service, with emphasis on aspects of the spiritual, mental and physical disciplines. This class is in lecture format, though interactive participation, sharing, discussion and questions are highly encouraged.

Mercedes has been exploring and following the path of service and surrender since 1997 and is delighted to continue to do so. She is happily owned and serving in San Francisco, her adopted hometown. Throughout her time in service, she has been trained in, and performed the duties of Majordomo, Butler, Chauffeur, Ladies Maid, Personal Attendant and Housegirl. Mercedes has taught at such groups and events as The Exiles, TES and TESFest, Camp Crucible, SMOdyssey and the Society of Janus on the topics of service, submission and queer politics. I Adore Being a Girl

Come and ogle the clothes and models, or come and learn some easy techniques for wearing girdles and stockings and where to find the best quality ones. Not everyone knows the ins and outs of stocking and girdle maintenance and while it’s not rocket science, it does have its tricks that can make it easy and hot (and knowing how to do stocking service is one damn fine skill set.) At the end of the class we will have a short fashion show. Contact me if you want to strut some hot stocking/girdle stuff in the show; we will try and provide for all sizes and shapes. Audience participation and appreciation is definitely encouraged.

Lisa G. is old enough to remember when she took offense at being called a girl, but then again, Lisa remembers when she called f*cking “making love, because to “f*ck” a woman was patriarchal. Although Lisa’s tastes in words may have changed over the past 30 years, her taste in undergarments hasn’t. Maybe it’s because she is such a bondage freak, but she is still convinced that there are few things hotter than a woman in a girdle, garters and stockings. Lisa comes to San Francisco eager to spread the word that even if they look like your mother’s girdles, Mom probably didn’t wear them to get tied up in.

After all this, I ran over to Lombard Street to the 4th annual Big Wheel Race. This is the video from last year. This year, between the publicity and the beautiful weather, there where about 10 times more spectators and WAY more racers. After wards some took their big wheels straight down the hill into North Beach doing about… mock 10. Freakin Hilarious.
