Our love languages define the way we give and receive love. I didn’t really pay attention to them until I took a class from Marla Renee Stewart of Velvet Lips. She talked about them in sexy turns and I immediately got it. The ways I receive love are through gifts and service.

After far too long trapped in my house under quarantine, during which I did not in fact get caught up on all those projects I used to swear that all I needed was some down time in my house to accomplish, I just hosted my first femdom party with the help of several local service submissives.
As always, I failed to take enough pictures. Funny as I’m a former professional photographer and one of the first dommes on line to share personal photos back in the day.
The food was spectacular, the turquoise and crimson Sub Rosa themed champagne cocktails designed by the house bartender were superb, and of course, the service was impeccable. I do have a lovely photo of the submissives which I shall treasure always
But what really made the night perfect, was the company. Mistress Viola Parker, Domina Elara, Mischief Morningstar, as well as several new mentees who will be gracing Portland’s scene soon, and a few local lifestyle Dommes. This was the first FemDom gathering any of us had been to in 18 months. We were free to talk and laugh and scheme, and MUCH scheming was done, while our drinks were kept filled and sumptuous snacks were brought to us.
The entire night served as a wonderful way to ring in the new era. I’m not sure what the post pandemic world will be like, but I do know that quarantine has made me very certain of what I do, and don’t need in my life.
I need more kinky femmes in my life. So Viola and I started Club Rosa, to supplement Sub Rosa. I also have a very exciting announcement coming in the next few weeks about Girl Gang. Permission to squee granted. It will be as amazing as you think.
I need more solid dependable personal submissives in my life. I would love to clone Raeven. Barring that. I would like to find more that compliment her skills. This is NOT an invitation to email offering to take that space. These positions will be filled by people in my life, usually paying clients. Service to me is not a way to get free play. In fact after all Raeven’s work on the party, she got *checks notes* zero play. BUT she got access to me, and My life in ways that no one else has. And when we do play, that adds to the connection and REALNESS and makes it much more fulfilling for both of us.
And of course, I need more parties like this in my life full of witchy, kinky femmes! So I don’t know what the post pandemic world will be like, but *My* post pandemic world will be filled with delicious food, fabulous FemDoms, impeccable service as I lean into my love languages.
